The project includes a new facility for the Princess Anne Middle School. The replacement of Princess Anne Middle School is funded in the 2016/17 Capital Improvement Program adopted by City Council in May 2016.
The new school will:
- be built on the site of the former Princess Anne Middle School, once the former building is demolished.
- accommodate a student capacity of approximately 1,500 students in grades 6-8.
- continue to serve a student population that represents the varied interests of our city. The farming community, military dependents, Sandbridge residents, and a multitude of hard working families are residents of the new boundaries for Princess Anne Middle. The school serves students who attended Creeds, Christopher Farms, North Landing (Blackwater), Princess Anne, Red Mill, and Strawbridge Elementary Schools.
